Artist Statement
This show is an introspective mixed-media journey that highlights work from over the last six years. It explores the anger, loneliness, insecurity, sadness, and hate I felt during my young adulthood. These artworks are a time capsule that reflects the scars I healed while creating each piece. During this artistic process, I have slowly learned how to better self-reflect and self-love. Each work of art is a visual, physical, and emotional diary of moments spent looking inward.

The show will take place on the second floor of the Art building in the John Sommers Gallery.
